The Young Artist Competition, sponsored by the
Pasadena Community Orchestra, is coming up!
The application deadline is : January 19th, 2013.
This competition is for musicians ages 16-25. If
you're not eligible this year, this is a wonderful
opportunity to consider and prepare

Marisa Sakaguchi----
Thank
you to all TMJ members who performed and attended our first meeting. We had a
wonderful program and reception. We appreciate those who brought refreshments,
and I thank you for the very thoughtful baby memory book I received on TMJ's
behalf. We wish more members could have been there and want to see everyone
make an effort to be more involved with TMJ this year. We understand you have
busy schedules but to be a part of TMJ and any organization, you need to be
present in order to be an active member.
We
expect board members to be present at all meetings and for any board member who
cannot attend, please contact me with a valid excuse for your absence prior to
the meeting. Members need to attend at least 2 meetings before May to remain
active. Current yearbooks are also available once you've paid your $10 membership
dues made payable to TMJ to Mrs. Santoso.
We also encourage you to let your friends at school and your teacher's studios
know about TMJ so we can welcome them to join. I've also attached the 2013
Callie McGrath competition guidelines as there are attendance requirements for
participation you should know in advance. We thank you for your time and look
forward to hearing you perform. Please contact me with any questions or
concerns.
