Greetings!
Happy New Year!

I hope this coming New Year 2011 will bring all of us
amazing great health, success and prosperity and take
us to the next level of growth in music making and personal
wisdom.I was very happy to see more old members who
came to perform last month and they all did a fantastic job.
For those who missed the details,Catherine Yang, our talented historian will post lots of wonderful news in our website. Our blog/website is:

A sincere appreciation to Mrs. Celeste French, our former  Business Manager who has shared and donated lots of wonderful music for all of us.
Thank you so much from all of us and wishing Mrs. French the greatest health, joy, love and happiness throughout thiscoming  New Year.

Special thanks to
                       Barbara Shofler

to manage the TMJ Christmas Gifts for all of our Boards. This is the first time in history that we presented this special and heartfelt Christmas gift to each one of you and I am sure we will continue the tradition. Barbara Shofler said the very right thing, that you are all the greatest one to run the Board and are mostly in such young age. You are all very polite when writing emails to me or Mrs. Shofler, I feel very pleasant every time reading emails from all of you. Thank you to the Parents who are so supportive with all the kids’ work. Please remember to save your original receipt especially for the Board Members who have to deal with some expenses for paper and printing.

We would like to invite everyone to the Piano Master Class on Sunday, January 23, 2010 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at my home 1475 Rubio Drive in San Marino, 91108. Our Master Teacher this time is Prof. Robert Ward who taught in California State University Los Angeles, CalTech and Occidental College. Prof. Ward is known for his wonderful and strong teaching and he has constantly producing many prize-winning students regardless the amount of the talents a student has. For those who have contacted Hillary or me regarding the participation, please try to come on the January 8 meeting to fill out a registration form. Tuesday Musicale Juniors will partly sponsor the Piano Master Class. We can only accept 4 pianists for a total of two-hour session. The fee per performer is $40.00. The requirement is very simple, you must have performed the piece you would like to play in the upcoming Master Class in one of our recent meetings, music must be advanced level and must be memorized. Please bring only the original score to the Piano Master Class. We will have another Master Teacher, Dr. Susan Svrcek, who is so willingly to share with us another Piano Master Class next month. Dr. Susan Svrcek was a member of TMJ when she was young. It will be a wonderful learning experience for all of us to hear their expertise and for the students to grow another milestone for their musicality. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Space is very limited, it’s a free admission for audiences, please RSVP as soon as possible.
I hope I can arrange another Master Class for Intermediate Level Students next year for those who are very interested but your piano level is still not high enough. We will have many more opportunities for other instrumentalists as well. I hope I can share with you some wonderful learning experiences through TMJ.

A reminder from Mrs. Shofler , please don’t forget to sign up for Winter Recital on Sunday, January 9, 2011 through Mrs. Barbara Ebert as soon as possible.
Last advice for great organizational skill, please communicate well with positive thinking; always be respectful to each other without a sense of control and authority; please use pleasant and kind words in emails. We don’t like reading it when we receive those and people tend to respond the same way;  be forgiving; I hope we can enter the coming 2011 New Year with reformed spirit. I know that this group is just really amazing and I thank you for all you do. We all make a sacrifice but again, we did it because we love Tuesday Musicale Juniors. Have a Wonderful New Year Celebration!
